Cole Vos is six years old and he helps his older brother, Matt, deliver newspapers. That in itself doesn't sound quirky at all but when you consider the fact that he delivers the papers in his electrically charged jeep that he maneuvers with the skill of an experienced driver the quirk factor tends to rise.
I asked Cole how long he"s been driving, he handled the toy vehicle like a seasoned professional, and in the eloquent way that most six year olds subscribe to, he answered, "For a while now. A long time.”
And that was enough talking. There is, after all, a job to be done.
With that, Cole squeals up the driveway, plastic to pavement, and starts organizing how the papers are to be stacked in his trailer, a red metal wagon.
The brothers have only been delivering for a couple of weeks now. They haven't even received their first pay cheque. How they divide the money when the cheque does come in is still to be determined.
