It was sunny. It was the middle of the afternoon and there, sitting on the ledge was a guy. The first thing I noticed was his brightly colored guitar and the second thing I noticed was that he seemed to be playing for no-one but himself, and the traffic which of course was oblivious to whatever talents he may or may not possess.
"Quite frankly it beats sitting in the lunch room,” says Nate Reimer who as it turns out, was 45 minutes into his 30 minute lunch break from Thrifty Foods. “This is not out of the norm for me. I get a lot of honks. I'd like to see a little more money thrown my way but you know … I"m having fun.”
Having graduated from film school in Vancouver, Nate is currently writing a six part mini-series called All But Gone that’ll premier at Malaspina University College Theatre this summer. “I just love movies and I love music. It’s my whole life.”
