Q. What is a Quirk?
A. A quirk is something that establishes common ground between us, something that gives us an opportunity to share the little oddities that we hold dear. It could be a habit, a pet whose personality somehow stands out or a mystery that when solved, does nothing more than satiate our curiosity.
There are quirks all around us in everything we do and most of the time, it’s just a matter of sitting back and, if only for a few fun moments, stop taking life so seriously!
Q. When submitting a quirk, does my name have to be published?
A. In short, yes but the longer answer is that if the quirk is really good, I might let it slide. Part of the reason that quirks work, is that people like to see and read about people they know. I do understand people’s concern for privacy having said that, I’ll do everything I can to convince you to reveal your name. Once I give you my word though, that you’ll remain anonymous, you can count on it.
Q. Can I submit an idea, and not an entire quirk?
A. Absolutely! A big part of Kait’s Quirks is the interactive element in which people share the things in life that have made them go “hmmmm”. If you see something odd, let me know and I’ll be more than happy to put on my investigative hat and get to the bottom of it. That’s how I met the five chiwawas, owned by three sisters, who love Tim-bits from the Drive-Thru.
